Shield Security Services is currently seeking an experienced security guard investigator to join our team in Ottawa. As a member of our company, you will be responsible for conducting investigations, identifying, and preventing security breaches, and providing a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigations into security breaches, incidents, and suspicious activity
  • Gather evidence and document findings
  • Identify and report security risks and vulnerabilities
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of investigations
  • Participate in regular training and development opportunities to stay current on industry trends and best practices

Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid security guard license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in security investigations
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations is an asset
