Shield Security Services is currently seeking an experienced security guard investigator to join our team in Ottawa. As a member of our company, you will be responsible for conducting investigations, identifying, and preventing security breaches, and providing a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations into security breaches, incidents, and suspicious activity
- Gather evidence and document findings
- Identify and report security risks and vulnerabilities
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of investigations
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to stay current on industry trends and best practices
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid security guard license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in security investigations
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations is an asset
